As members of Friends of Ravenna will know, we have a quarterly Newsletter called ‘Gemelli’, Italian for ‘Twins’. Members receive it by email or as a printed copy. Anne Scicluna has been our Editor for the last fifteen years.
This redoubtable lady, a City Councillor and three times Mayor of Chichester, has found time amongst her many other commitments to regularly edit Gemelli. Over the years she has gathered material from our members about our talks, our visits to Italy, connections with Ravenna and a host of interesting snippets, puzzles, recipes and information about Italian classes. Finally, Anne has decided to call it a day. We are extremely grateful for all the work she has done to support our Association but understand she has many other duties. Anne has promised to help a new editor to take over but our problem is finding someone willing to take her place. We have many talented writers amongst our members, so please contact our membership secretary as soon as possible if you are interested!
